AWHG is more than 130 physicians strong with over 40 certified nurse midwives, and we are still growing.

Including satellite offices and the central business office, we serve our patients in over 40 locations providing comprehensive OB/GYN care. AWHG is affiliated with The AWHG Breast Center, North Crescent Surgery Center, AWHG Laboratory, and Medical Business Management.

Atlanta Women’s Health Group, P.C. is one of the largest OB/GYN practices in the southeast, responsible for serving approximately 400,000 patients representing over 500,000 visits annually, and delivering approximately 16,000 babies each year, primarily serving the Atlanta Metropolitan and Athens Metropolitan Areas and expanding throughout Georgia.

In August 1999, Georgia OB/GYN, Northside/Northpoint OB/GYN, Roswell OB/GYN, Peachtree Women’s Clinic, North Atlanta OB/GYN and North Atlanta Women’s Specialists physician groups merged to form a new company, named Atlanta Women’s Health Group, P.C.

The organization is governed by a Board of Directors, and led by the President and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Genevieve L. Fairbrother. She was preceded by the founding CEO, Dr. Richard Zane who served in this capacity for 22 years.
