Triage Nurse

The Atlanta Women’s Health Group, the largest OB/GYN practice in the southeast, has a current job opportunity for a Triage Nurse in one of our North Atlanta locations.

We are seeking an RN with a minimum of 2 years clinical OB/GYN practice experience to perform triage service for OB/GYN patients over the phone. This individual will serve as the primary contact for medical care to phone-in patients. The Triage Nurse will be responsible for completing an accurate assessment of a patient’s needs, be able to identify symptoms, determine emergencies and determine if physician referrals are required.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience with superb customer service skills, empathy, patience and the ability to reassure and calm concerned callers. We seek an individual who possesses a broad knowledge of medical terminology and drug formularies, exhibits excellent verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail as well as the ability to work independently.

Must hold a current Georgia RN license and be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
