The Atlanta Women’s Health Group, the largest OB/GYN practice in the southeast has a current job opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to provide total nursing care to obstetrical and gynecologic patients under the direction of a physician in our North Atlanta, Ga location(s).

This position will require you to provide total nursing care to obstetrical and gynecologic patients under the direction of a physician. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques. Observes and evaluates patient and records condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents. The candidate will be able to evaluate the outcome of patient care. The candidate will perform physicial examinations and preventative health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of a physician.

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years clinical OB/GYN practice experience, superb customer service skills, empathy, patience, and the ability to quickly establish and maintain rapport with colleagues and patients.

Requires RN license, successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program, and have current approval by the joint Board of Medical Examiners and Board of Nursing to perform medical acts. May direct nursing care through nursing staff, may aid physician during treatments and examinations of patients, and may refer patients to physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment. Exposure to Electronic Medical Records is a plus.
