Certified Nurse Midwife

The Atlanta Women’s Health Group, the largest OB/GYN practice in Georgia with multiple offices in the North Atlanta area, has an OB Laborist program at Northside Forsyth Hospital in Cumming, GA with two available call shift positions for Certified Nurse Midwives from 5:00 pm to 6:00 am. One opportunity is 2 days working 12 hour shifts and the second opportunity is 4 days working 12 hour shifts.

We are seeking a polished professional, either a new graduate or experienced (2-5 years) in an OB/GYN practice to be responsible for seeing patients, taking labor and delivery calls, and assisting in C-Section surgeries. Responsibilities also include ante and post partum care, maintaining accurate health records and clinical files, implementing physician orders, and relating assessments to physician concerning patient’s condition or changes in condition.

The ideal candidates will hold a current Georgia RN license as well as a CNM license and be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Fetal monitoring and neonatal ACLS highly desirable.
